The introduction of the first results of ISDEGO project at International Conference on Green Logistics for Greener Cities. The International Conference “Green Logistics for Greener Cities” is focused on significant problems especially concerning the impacts of urban transport on the environment, presentation of the new trends in eco-logistics, the impacts of freight distribution on the city environment, including the tourist and health resorts, the utilization of telematics-based systems in urban logistics, modelling and planning freight distribution in the context of sustainable development, urban industrial infrastructure, city marketing for supporting sustainable development, public-private partnerships for sustainable urban logistics, safety aspects in urban transport, metropolitan environmental monitoring in terms of freight transport, the impact of logistics systems on the effective functioning of metropolitan areas as well as the economic aspects of improving the safety of freight distribution in urban areas.
