Name: Training of UA&MD Teachers in EU Universities

The activity focused on training academic staff from UA & MD universities at partner EU universities in order to enhance their professional competences and strengthen the implementation of SDG11 principles in transport bachelor’s programmes. The selection procedures for academic staff were conducted, and the results were published on the websites of each UA & MD university. A five-day training period was organized, during which participants studied advanced European best practices, approaches, and knowledge in sustainable urban mobility, green transport, digitalization, and modern teaching methodologies. The training report is presented in Deliverable D5.1
Name: Development micro-credentials concept

The ISDEGO project aims to integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 11) into bachelor’s programs in transport. In the context of global transformations in the transport sector driven by digitalization, climate change, and innovations in the management of technical systems. There is an increasing need for flexible educational tools, in particular, micro-credentials. Micro-credentials are modular, short-term learning components that enable learners to quickly acquire specific competencies tailored to the labor market and contemporary challenges. This document outlines a strategic framework for the development of micro-credentials for universities in Ukraine, Moldova, and the EU, considering local contexts and European recommendations. All the materials of the report were presented on the Progress Seminar “Micro-Credentials in Technical Higher Education: European Practices, National Challenges, and Pathways for Ukraine and Moldova. Application of Micro-Credentials in Transport and Logistics”, which were held October 21, 2025.

The evaluating existing bachelor's programs, future demand and development of recommendations for UA&MD universities.
Report presents the results of a comprehensive evaluation of existing bachelor's programs in Ukraine and Moldova in the field of transport and urban development. The work included an in-depth review of 28 international strategic and educational documents (e.g. EQF, OECD Learning Compass 2030, World Bank reports), an analysis of global trends, and the identification of future demands for graduate competences. Based on the findings and feedback from stakeholder workshops, recommendations were developed for the integration of new competences, topics, and teaching formats into bachelor’s curricula. The proposed innovations aim to foster key 21st-century skills such as analytical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy, enhancing the employability of future graduates in alignment with EU standards.
Name: Communication strategy developing

The communication strategy was developed in accordance with the Grant Agreement. The ISDEGO project’s communication strategy is a key tool for ensuring public visibility, informing stakeholders, and disseminating project results. It will support the project’s objectives through a structured use of online channels (website, social media, electronic newsletters) and offline activities (conferences, seminars, and partner meetings). This strategy will enable the project to effectively communicate its goals, achievements, and innovations to a broad audience, foster international cooperation, and ensure the sustainability of its results beyond the funding period.

During the Kick-off meeting, the Regulations on the Appointment of Project Consortium Members were discussed and formed, describing the decision-making process.

Name: Analysis of Methods and Tools for Teaching Sustainable Urban Transport
Lead Beneficiary: BE001 – The Maritime University of Szczecin (MUS), BE007 – The National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE)
Task 3.1 focuses on the assessment and comparison of methods, technologies, and tools used in teaching sustainable urban transport, including transport data collection systems. The task is based on the analysis of laboratory infrastructures at EU universities, results of EU-funded projects, and the current state of sustainable urban mobility education. The findings are used to evaluate the suitability of existing systems and devices for didactic purposes and to support practice-oriented and competency-based learning. The outcomes of Task 3.1 provide a foundation for the further development of the Sustainable Urban Transport Laboratory (SUTLab)
Name: The selection of teachers for abroad visits

During September 2025 the selection of academic staff representatives of UA & MD Universities was conducted for participation in the internship on the base of European universities within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project ISDEGO – Implementation of Sustainable urban Development Goals in transport bachelor degree. The results of selection have been published on the official websites of UA & MD Universities

On October 21, 2025 will hold an online Progress Seminar to present the results of initial research on micro-credentials and share European and national experiences in higher education – with a focus on transport and logistics in Ukraine and Moldova.
Name: Agreements between EU and PC Universities
Lead Beneficiary: 5. NTU
The agreements on cultural and scientific cooperation between universities have been signed by all consortium members. This will contribute to continuing the partnership with EU countries and to transferring and disseminating EU policy in the field of higher education at universities in Ukraine and Moldova.
The milestone has been successfully achieved. A total of 24 mandatory cooperation agreements have been signed, along with 14 additional agreements between Ukrainian and Moldovan universities.
Name: First ISDEGO seminar - European experience

The First ISDEGO seminar was held. The goal is to transfer the European experience in implementing the principles of SDG11 in learning trajectories as well as to include in the bachelor’s curricula the future demand (according to local/national/international trends). The European experience was presented. 12 reports from European lecturers were presented during the workshop.

According to milestone MS18 of the ISDEGO project, which is part of Work Package 7 (Dissemination & Exploitation), the main tasks that must be completed by the end of the third month of the project (March 2025) include creating the project website and social media pages where all information about the project is disseminated.

This document presents the results of Deliverable 2.1 of the Erasmus+ ISDEGO project (Implementation of Sustainable urban Development Goals in transport bachelor degree). It offers evidence-based recommendations for updating bachelor-level programs in transport and urban development at Ukrainian universities. The recommendations are grounded in a triangulated methodology combining international policy analysis, institutional self-assessment, and stakeholder engagement, including four regional workshops conducted in April 2025. The proposed competence framework addresses emerging global trends such as sustainability, digitalization, urbanization, and labor market transformation. These recommendations will guide the design of new modules and teaching materials in follow-up project tasks and support Ukraine’s alignment with EU educational and mobility standards..

This document is an outcome of the on-site training of academic staff from UA&MD universities in EU universities-partners from November 10 to 21, 2025. The report presents the best practices that EU universities employ for implementing UN SDG11 in their bachelor’s studies. Participants of the traineeship highlight these best practices and make recommendations on how they suppose using them to improve the education process at the local UA&MD universities.
